I'm building five basic 3 foot wheels similiar to the 2 foot wheels shown here except that they are using heavier construction with more paddles, Three are already sold (as of 8/23) so I've got 2 left. If you want one order below now because I don't know when I'll be building more of these 3 foot basic low priced wheels. They are pretty large so UPS charges me $85 to ship them. I get a lot of request for 2 foot water wheels but with the massive amounts of labor that goes into my custom larger wheels I couldn't offer one of my custom 2 foot water wheels at a reasonable price. So... I've developed a basic 2 foot water wheel for a reasonable price. While this wheel doesn't have a lot of the craftsmanship my custom wheels have it is a nice little wheel at a fair price. This functional wood water wheel is 24" in diameter and rides on oil impreginated bronze bushings. Mortise joints between the spokes and siderails, box corner joints between the siderails and trough shoes along with triple plated screws in the hub help assure a durable product. The axle is strong enough to allow single side mounting.
